New Features in 2007 (18 September 2006) - Major Release

New Reports - Keepers rejoice! Several new reports have been added including a Most Catches by a Keeper in an Innings, Most Catches by a Keeper in a Match, Most Catches in a Season by Keeper & Most 4's in an Innings.

Windows Vista Support - Cricket Statz 2007 has full Windows Vista support.

Player Merge facility (CS Pro only) - A new facility has been added that allows player records to be merged. For example, if you have two players records for the same player then you can merge them across the database into a single record.

Multi-grade selection - You can now select multiple grades when running reports. This is particularly useful if you wish to include/exclude results from practise games or combine limited overs results with 2 innings results.

Report Enhancments - The individual report now includes a breakdown across grade/ground/team/batting pos. The first match/debut match results are also shown. Byes have been added to the Wicket Keeping report. HTML pages are now left justified rather than centre justified and minor formatting improvements have been added.

Interface improvements - We have added a scorecard warning if balls faced exceeds balls bowled. A player's batting position is shown in the FOW drop down list for quicker data entry. A grade column has been added to the match list for additional sorting. Blank player names are now allowed in the FOW entry and will be shown as a "?" on the partnership reports. Select All/Unselect All has been added to the player selection page. Recent database file names have been extended from 2 to 4 entries.

New Features in 2005 Service Pack 2 [SP2] (10 March 2005)

New Report - A 'Match Summary by Total' report has been added that shows match results summaries plus wickets, runs and overs for and against

Batting Order Optimiser Improvements  - Now shows both the best and second best teams. A new slider has been introduced to adjust the sensitivity for batsmen that have limited experience in the top 8 batting positions.

Report Enhancments - The individual report by grade/ground/team/batting pos now shows the grounds and teams in alphabetical order. The top batting average report now shows the high score. The top bowling average report now shows the best bowling. The dismissal type is now shown on the individual report highlights. The top wicket keeping report now only shows matches played as keeper. The batting and bowling highlights on the individual report now has the trigger point configurable.

Scorecard checks - We have introduced some new scorecard checks including ensuring that each FOW should be greater than the previous and maidens should not exceed overs.

Individual Points - We have added points configuration for NO's and C&B's.

Ease of use - Cricket Statz will now remember the last player that you ran an individual report for and start with this player by default.  This also applies to the last team that was selected.  Other ease-of-use modifications have been made.

New Features in 2005 Service Pack 1 [SP1] (28 November 2004)

New Report - A 'Most catches in a season by field' report has been added.

Individual Report Now Shows Stats by Season  - Added a breakdown of statistics by Season to the Grade/Ground/Opp/Batting Pos report so that coaches can see improvements in players over time.

Partial Overs - Partial overs for bowlers has been added to the Complete Summary report.

Caught Behind - This has been added as another 'how out' on the batting and bowling charts.

Number of how-outs - The number of each type of dismissal has been added to the batting and bowling charts.

Single Club Mode now reports Team and not Club - When in single club mode, the last team a player has played for is shown on most reports.  Previously only the club was shown.

New Features in 2005 (3 September 2004) - Major Release

Batting Order Optimiser - This powerful new utility will calculate the optimal batting order based on a selection of candidate players. It will look at the player scores for each batting position and calculate the optimal order for maximum team scores. This can be filtered by opposition, ground, grade and data to allow coaches to select batting order on a match by match basis.

Individual Report - An option has been added to show either 'highlights' or 'ALL results' for individual players. When 'ALL' is selected, batting and bowling results for every match will be shown on the report.  This is used to allow your players to view their season results on a single report.

Individual Points - 6's and Caught Behinds can now be assigned unique points for calculating player points reports.

Competition Points Report - This report is now only available in the 2005 Professional edition.

Last Databases Opened - The last two Cricket Statz databases opened are now shown on the file menu for quick access.

Match Results Report - This report now shows the results of each innings for each team.

Top Wicket Takers Report - This report now shows 'maidens'.
